Water System Pressure Repair

THERE WAS A WATER PRESSURE ISSUE BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION YESTERDAY FOR FOLKS THAT ARE ON THE WATER SYSTEM.  WE HAVE DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AND IT WILL BE RESOLVED TOMORROW (April 12, 2017).

FOLKS ON THE WATER SYSTEM ARE ASKED TO CONSERVE WATER AT THIS TIME.  I WILL SEND OUT AN EMAIL WHEN THE WORK IS COMPLETED TOMORROW.  SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.

HOPE EVERYONE HAS A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY WEEKEND.

April 1, 2017 9am – Community Service and Cleanup Day

April 1st is a planned workday to trim all brush and debris along the main road and set curve markers.

We will meet at 9:00 am at the island near the pond.

Anyone attending should bring gloves, shears, trimming saws, and other tool to help us cut brush.

Currently, the plan is to get two switchbacks done in the Spring s that we can take advantage of only shutting down the road once per year.

Message from the President – March 2017

Message from the President

Greetings Fellow Members!Spring is just around the corner, and with the mild winter weather, it appears winter has left a tad early. Already we are seeing trees in full bloom and flowers are popping up all over the mountain. It was a very mild winter with only one significant snowfall. I am so pleased with the current state of the mountain. Last fall we were able to complete the concreting of a major switchback that has caused issues in the past. The section below Dogwood Lane is no longer a maintenance issue. Very exciting to see this progress from our Roads Committee.

We have renewed energy in the Board Members that were elected last fall and the membership is starting to become actively engaged in Committees. For anyone wishing or willing to be a part of any committee, please reach out to Dee Schaller or to any of the Chairs on the Committees. Your help is truly appreciated and through those committees, we can really bring synergy to the mountain in positive manner. The budget that has been proposed is most exciting for 2017. Not only do we have plans for concreting two more switchbacks, but we have budgeted security upgrades, landscaping project and design, and marketing projects.

2017 will most definitely be a foundation year to continue working towards having our main road accessible with as little maintenance as possible. April 1st is a planned workday to trim all brush and debris along the main road and set curve markers. We will meet at 9:00 am at the island near the pond. We look forward to an exciting year in 2017 to continue the momentum that has been created
